We're delighted to announce that this year we’ll be presenting London’s infamous Red Stripe Camden Crawl on April 18th & 19th as proud headline sponsor.
Red Stripe Camden Crawl is not just the first festival of the year; it’s the quintessential ‘one’s to watch’ event in the UK for the year ahead. Last year’s two day throng of new artists included Adele, Calvin Harris, Jack Penate, Kate Nash, New Young Pony Club, The Whip, and the band we urged you to see most in our 2007 run up, Foals - the band now on everybody’s lips. To say that any decent band you’re likely to hear over the next twelve months will be present in Camden this April is nothing short of sheer probability. Practically every up and coming artist, with any hope of going the distance, is scheduled to appear across 25 of London’s best music halls from Dingwalls to NW1.
Of course we’ll there, basking in the mid-April sun, bringing you the best in live performances and artist interviews across both days, and in true style of the legendary inner-city festival, we’ll be catching some acts twice while keeping you up to date with the entire goings on via our roving campervan. Look out for that along with an array of secret gigs, headline performances and Red Stripe giveaways.
The event boasts 130+ new and renowned pioneering artists with 2008 looking to be the most celebrated year in the events history, so do be sure to check out this site regularly for up to date line-ups, competitions and promotions. If you live in London, have a few free days, or heck, just love rock ‘n’ roll, you have no excuse not to join team Red Stripe down on the trendy streets of Camden’s bohemia for a few days of off-the-wall fun and frolicking ordained to be as part of your musical upbringing as your first gig t-shirt.
