The Situationists were of a good standard, played well, and were perhaps the most original of the three bands. The guitarist played distinctive fluid guitar lines akin to Johnny Marr at times. The Craine were a Soft Rock revival with a Britpop front-man, they brought a big crowd with them too. And finally the aptly named Headliners, a contemporary sounding indie guitar pop band. This band could really play, the rhythm section locked together well and the two guitartists played off each other effectively. They had a confident personable front-man and good stage craft that drew the crowd in.
