Venues

Talking Heads is a great little venue, tucked away in a suburb of Southampton and it truly represents what RSMA is all about. An old pub, turned into a live music venue full to the brim of an eccletic mix of music lovers. The bands are working the room when they are not on stage, giving out cd samples and talking to the punters. Once on stage, there is a very intimate feel to the room. All four bands playing were of a high standard last night. The Ramblings kicked things off and I don't think I have met a happier or more positive band, no moody sulking rockers here. And talking of rock, the next band, Helcyon, certainly turned things up a bit with their old school rock numbers complete with head banging guitarist. Moral Soul were the stars on the night with a very tight performance, great music, great voice, enough said. I Falter headlined with some very original melodies off the beat, a pleasure to hear something a bit different.
