The Horn. Refurbed since The Runners belted out a set worthy of their RSMA winning status in 2007 but who cares if they've got new tables and chairs? It wasn’t about that, it was about getting stuck into some cans of Red Stripe and staggering into the backroom to see what this Hertfordshire city could offer this time.
First up was Phantom Jack who dazzled with some metal and some fancy dress - Freddy Mercury anyone? Magna Saga cruised in and gave us what for, whacking some big sounds out which got the crowd moving. Next up was hip-hop & blues fusion Fugazirum who even had their own t-shirt merchandise as well as the set to make heads turn. As we moved into the early hours of Sunday morning, The Raid swaggered on, thanked the crowd for sticking around and led us down an Indie path which draws obvious comparisons with early Oasis and the Bluetones.
Loads going on here - and all different stuff.

I agree with you Rock Chick! It's good to see something new, I think these guys will be huge, can't wait to see them again!

Very impressed with The Phantom Jack. It was mega-heavy, but still sounded catchy and different from the other music out there. Hope to see them again!

Only say it if it's worth saying. We'll have to to remove anything that doesn't fit the bill.
